“Lovely old hotel, does need a bit of work but I liked the charm of it. The mattresses were very hard, I got used to them but I can imagine some people finding them too uncomfortable. The food was very good and they catered well to vegetarians. The hotel is a fair walk from the centre but there are shuttle buses to take you to the slopes.”
“The hotel feels a little tired and shows signs of age. Despite this there are all of the usual amenities, bar, restaurant and a spa. The staff and management are fantastic making us feel at home with nothing too much trouble for them. The hotel is a good 15 minute walk from the centre of town, which is nice because the area around the hotel stays quiet. There is a shuttle bus going between the hotel and town, access to the slopes or town was never a problem. The food was great with a four course meal every night. I would certainly stay here again and have no problem recommending the hotel to family and friends.”
